차세대 Stackable Smart Switch들은 스태킹 혹은 업링크를 위해 전면에 2개의 전용 Dual-purpose 포트들을 사용합니다. 이 스태킹 기능은 내부 스택 트래픽을 운반하면서 높은 수준의 Resilience를 보장할 수 있도록 10Gbps 듀얼 링에 높은 리던던트 스태킹 버스를 제공합니다. 또한 최대 6대의 스위치들을 스택하거나 최대 300개의 10/100/1000Mbps 포트들을 제공하여 하나의 IP 주소를 통해 손쉬운 관리가 가능한 가상 샤시를 구성할 수 있습니다. 이 스태킹 기술은 또한 비즈니스 연속성을 보장하고자 여러 개의 높은 활용 기능을 제공합니다.:

• Resiliency: Redundant 스태킹 포트 접속 때문에 스택상에 있는 어떠한 스위치에 장애 발생 시 신속한 재설정 기능을 통해 자동 Fail-over 기능을 지원하여 네트워크 Downtime을 예방.
