Introduction
 

The UPort 1130 USB-to-serial adaptor provides a convenient and easy method of attaching an RS-422 or RS-485 serial device to your laptop or PC. The UPort 1130 plugs into your computer`s USB port and adds a male DB9 RS-422/485 serial port to your workstation. Windows drivers are included for easy installation and configuration. The UPort 1130 can be used with new or legacy serial devices and supports both 2- and 4-wire RS-485. It is especially suited for mobile, instrumentation and point-of-sale (POS) applications.
